Birdsville, probably Australia's most remote town, is situated in the far SW corner of QLD. It comes alive in the 1st week of September every year with the population going from 100 to around 6000 in a few days for the annual event!

The race meeting now comprises a 12 race program and is famous throughout the world!

This year we Deptart Maroochydore on the 2nd September for 3 fun-filled nights and 2 days galavanting before returning to the Sunshine Coast on the 5th for the completion of the most remarkable long weekend.
